Narciso Rodriguez and Zara: an iconic capsule

IN 1996 HE DRAWING A WEDDING DRESS FOR HIS FRIEND CAROLYN BESSETTE KENNEDY.

A slip dress with a minimalist, clean, fluid and soon iconic style.

Narciso Rodriguez, an American of Cuban descent, graduated from Parsons School, and worked for Donna Karan and Calvin Klein, before founding his eponymous brand in New York in 1998.

The designer with disruptive minimalism, in vogue in the 90s and today known above all for his perfumes, has recently opened the doors of his archives to the design team of the Zara group.

The result is a capsule collection with an acute architectural sense, faithful to the past and at the same time incredibly current.

TODAY, AS THEN, NARCISO RODRIGUEZ HAS CHOSEN RICCIARINI TEXTILES FOR SOME OF THE CREATIONS IN THE COLLECTION.

A collection that has met with enormous success from the very first hours of being online, and which faithfully re-proposes a minimal, elegant and timeless wardrobe: a long coat in black wool, a white oversized jumpsuit, a red midi dress, a bustier in wool and a satin suit with top and trousers; accompanied by shoes and accessories.

Presented by an iconic top since the 90s, the Russian Natalia Vodianova, photographed by Craig McDean.
